What to expect in the first session:
We'll start with a 60-minute intake session to get to know each other. This includes building rapport, exploring the history and context of your challenges, and establishing clear, achievable goals. I’ll then offer my clinical recommendation on whether DBT is the most effective approach for your needs.
Individual Therapy
Life can feel overwhelming—whether you're navigating anxiety, imposter syndrome, relationship struggles, low self-esteem, or simply trying to make it through the day. Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with your inner strength.
I offer a warm, non-judgmental, and occasionally irreverent space where you can feel both supported and challenged. My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), DBT-Prolonged Exposure (PE), and elements of Psychodynamic and Humanistic therapies. Together, we’ll work to build resilience and develop effective, personalized coping strategies.

If your child or teen is struggling with emotional regulation, identity development, decision-making, or communication, I’m here to help. My approach is centered on helping young people feel seen, heard, and empowered as they build confidence and a stronger sense of self.
Each session is uniquely tailored to your child or teen’s individual goals. I focus on teaching practical tools to improve communication, self-advocacy, emotional regulation, and resilience during difficult moments.
What to expect in the first session:
The initial session includes one-on-one time with your child or teen, followed by a collaborative portion with one or both caregivers. This ensures I gain a full understanding of the challenges from multiple perspectives. If clinically appropriate, I may recommend parent coaching sessions in addition to ongoing individual therapy for your child or teen.
